Shortly we will be issuing a press release that documents the most unpleasant and unexpected changes in the State government authority SRLA (Suburban Rail Loop Authority)’s approach to the Brickworks Site: from retaining it as a passive open space (via Jacinta Allen’s facebook post in 2024/25) to obtaining approval for high-rise development of up 10 stories around the perimeter, and unspecified heights of 20+ stories in the centre, by the end of 2025, and into 2026.
