Shortly we will be issuing a press release that documents the most unpleasant and unexpected changes in the State government authority SRLA (Suburban Rail Loop Authority)’s approach to the Brickworks Site: from retaining it as a passive open space at the start of 2025, to approving high-rise development of up 10 stories, and more, by the end of 2025, and into 2026.
In our press release we will be questioning the legality of this process that has amongst other things overridden an EPA Report condemning the land as unsuitable to build, and a Structural Report which is about to be run roughshod-over by buildings that are far higher than the Report allowed-for.
If you are a concerned community-member who has legal expertise, who would like to help us uncover whether these Reports carry legal weight or can be put aside at will, we would be most interested in sharing the documents related to the above-mentioned changes with you.
Though we can’t offer you remuneration we would most certainly publicise your help in the cause of maintaining our quality of life.
